Fascia damage is one of those things that's easy to ignore - until it isn't. What looks like a cosmetic issue at the roofline is actually a direct entry point for water and pests. Once moisture gets behind damaged fascia, it starts working on the wood decking, the soffit, and eventually the interior. That's a much bigger problem than a simple repair.

Here's what we were working with on this Eagle Mountain home. The fascia along the roofline had taken some wear and needed to be addressed before things got worse. The shingles on this roof were still doing their job, so the goal was straightforward - get the fascia sorted, seal up the roofline properly, and make sure water had nowhere to sneak in.

What we ended up with is a clean, tight roofline edge. New fascia sitting flush, good contact with the shingle drip edge, and a finish that matches the home's trim. It's the kind of work that doesn't draw a lot of attention - and that's exactly the point. When fascia is done right, you don't notice it.

The thing about repairs like this is the timing matters. Catching fascia damage early keeps the scope of work small. Let it go, and you're looking at rotted wood, potential soffit damage, and sometimes shingle issues along the edge. A quick repair now is almost always better than a full replacement later.

We do this work all over the Eagle Mountain area. Soffit and fascia, shingles, full rooflines - whatever the situation calls for. If your trim or roof edge is showing signs of wear, it's worth getting eyes on it sooner rather than later.
